TRADEWINDS ADVENTURE
Fancy lazing about in a boat all day? Swim, snorkel, surf, and sun yourself on deck as you cruise around the wave-rich Banyak and Telo Islands, right up to the southern reaches of the mesmerising Mentawai Islands in northern Sumatra, Indonesia.
Jiwa is a 23-metre traditional wooden Phinisi, like those used by merchants who traded throughout the archipelago years ago. Her twin masts, clean lines and rustic charm offer a unique way of experiencing a region that is rarely visited by tourists.
During this 10-day voyage (scheduled fortnightly, May to October) you'll explore local villages, eat fresh fish caught right from the boat, relax onboard with an ice-cold beer and experience some of the best surfing locations on the planet.
